At Likha Filipino Cultural Hub, we envision a vibrant and dynamic hub where Filipino creatives thrive. Our goal is to foster community building and intercultural understanding through art and culture.
Our Mission
To celebrate, preserve, promote, and revitalize Filipino culture and heritage in the diasporic community in Canada, through educational programming and partnerships with artists and cultural groups.
Our Goals
- To create a space for the community to gather, celebrate and connect through Filipino art
- To provide a platform for Filipino artists to showcase their work and gain recognition in the mainstream market
- To promote traditional and contemporary Filipino art forms: visual, performance, literary and culinary, through collaboration with individual artists and cultural groups
- To foster cultural exchange and educate others about Filipino culture
- To provide opportunities for Filipino-Canadians to reconnect with their roots and deepen their appreciation for their heritage
